Here, you need to specify how much +dmg gear you have for both Shadow and Fire spells. Please include all buffs ( Shields, potions, ... ) you have. For the Critical Rate, do not forget to include talent points that raise your skill and may not be shown in the character sheet.

This section let's you choose the talent points that will have a direct impact on your DPS. There is no validation done as of now, so you are able to spec (41/41/41), but that will not give you very realistic results :)

Follow the steps described below - Shown on the picture - to start calculating the DPS you can do.

1. Drag & drop the spells

You may drag any spell listed onto the Timeline. The spell is then added to the Timeline according to it's length in seconds. Do not forget that instant spells still trigger the Global CoolDown (GCD) timer, so no spell can get below 1.5s.

2. Request a simulation

Once you have selected your spells, you can press the Calculate(2) button. This will send the spell list for calculation. The results will be shown in the Statistics section.

3. Start from scratch for a new simulation

If you wish to check another spell sequence, you will need to reset(3) the Timeline.

After you're done with the basics, you can start entering your corresponding talents, equipments. Have fun !

1. I have trouble Drag & Dropping spells using Firefox ?

If you have a small screen resolution, a scrollbar may appear in the main section of the application. When this scrollbar is not in the topmost position, Firefox users may experience problems. Until a better solution is found, please put the scrollbar in the topmost position.

2. How can I improve the speed/response time of the application ?

The application has been tested with both Internet Explorer and Firefox running under Windows. Internet Explorer does not have the strange drag & drop problem described in #1, but Firefox executes everything much faster, resulting in a much better experience.
